This movie has won three national film awards: Best Special Effects, Best Stunt Choreographer, and Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Dasavathaaram is one of the best south Indian movies in 2008. It is a Telugu movie. A Hindi version was released in 2009 as “Dashavtar”. Himesh Reshammiya has composed its music. Govindarajan Ramaswamy is a Bio-scientist. He delivery a lecture about chaos theory and the butterfly effect at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. In a word, it is a fantastic movie.

It is the third high grossing movie in the world.
